Our American youth would feel so put upon to be asked to follow this model; they all want to think of themselves, and be seen, as free spirits, marching to their own drummer. They are repulsed by the idea that there is a corporate good that can and should prevail over their individuality. The reject discipline in all forms and all guises. The result is all-American chaos.
