I hate...What a wonderful memorial service/message. I hate it when I go to a funeral and it's all about THEM.......what kind of a person they were, what they've all done, what everyone will remember about them, etc. Yes, we remember them, but MOST of all, it should be about Christ crucified for them and for all of us (& our hope). Though nice, the minister wouldn't even have to know the person who died.
