It is always these false teachers. You don't see this coming from the laity. No, you see the laity fleeing the false teachers. My poor mother in law. This past year she has quit going to church because she knows now, really knows that her ELCA church is lost. Not just some somewhere else, but her church. So sad. I remember her telling me that once in college she didn't go to church one week just because her parents weren't there to make her, and it was the worst week she ever had. She believed the teachers and pastors were really trying to lead correctly. Now she sees they weren't. I feel so badly for her. She was so faithful to that faithless ALC/ELCA. She, like the others was betrayed by them. She also supported financially the whole corrupt enterprise and the false teaching that stole the gospel from the next generation. That is the hardest part, know that the dollars one gave for the proclamation of God's word was used instead to steal it away from the weakest among us.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
