As I was passing mom's TV this past ...Just so. As I was passing mom's TV this past Lord's Day, I heard a preacher (term used loosely) invite viewers/listeners to "ask Jesus into their hearts." He said, "I'm not asking you to join the church, or even attend regularly..." nonsense indeed. <br /><br />I realize there are folk like my mother who are not physically able to attend a local church, and TV can fill SOME of the gap. TV is NOT the church. For years video preachers and parachurch organizations have been selling themselves as church equivalents.
