And I thought I might get a little crazy and sing a little Zinzendorf.... boy am I out of it all...

This is definitely NOT your father's Zinzendorf....

And He set me on fire, and I am burning alive.
With His breath in my lungs I am coming undone.
And he set me on fire and I am burning alive.
With his breath in my lungs I am coming undone.
And I cannot hold it in
Remain composed.
Love's taken over me
So I propose the letting myself go.
I am letting myself go.

You are my joy.
You are my joy.
You are my joy.
You are my joy.

And He set me on fire, and I am burning alive.
With His breath in my lungs I am coming undone.
And He set me on fire, and I am burning alive.
With His breath in my lungs I am coming undone.
And I cannot hold it in and remain composed.
Love's taken over me and so I propose the letting myself go.
I am letting myself go.

You are my joy.
You are my joy.
You are my joy.
You are my joy.

I need to catch my breath, I need to.
I need to catch my breath, give me a moment now.

You are my joy.
You are my joy.
You are my joy.
You are my joy.

I'm laughing so hard
And I'm laughing so hard
And I'm laughing so hard

I have to give it to them: the boys can sing & play. Now someone give them a nice love song to sing & play, or a bit of existential angst a la Cobain, and all will be well.

(Serendipitously, the captcha word Google generated for this comment is 'chaff'!)

This was the song sung by the young adult ministry worship team at my LCMS Church on Mother's Day 2010.
I thought, How bizarre!

I think I'll stick with "Christi Blut und Gerechtigkeit."

I'm not laughing...

Give 'em what they want, not what they need...

Go see this sort of thing (if you can stomach it) on your day off; never a substitute for worship.
