The Random Thoughts of a Lutheran Parish Pastor
Before looking it up I would have said the Annunciation, but this works too. :)
Were you thinking of(1) Arnulf, Bp. of Soisons (d. 1087)(2) Tarsicius, a Roman martyr, of the 3rd-4th century (3) the BVMAll three of these are observed on Aug 15.
I was musing about this very thing this morning. I also came up with Aug. 15, March 25, and perhaps Pentecost.
Don't forget Laetare, the Fourth Sunday in Lent, or Mothering Sunday, the real ecclesiastical antecedent to Mother's Day.
How about October 16? Bosses Day :)
