Now let me apologize for the bluntness of this video -- especially to all my anabaptist friends in the Southern City in which I reside -- but, gosh darn it, the video just nails it.... So take in good humor but do not miss the theological point...
This is just so true. I've been there. i know Jim's side of the argument, and how he believes it's Scriptural. I now know the other side (the True one). It's wry from this side, but thinking back I can't help but feel sad.
Sad I was 'anabaptist' so long, and sad for all my friends who hear I am now Lutheran, and look at me like a deer in the headlights.
I also thought this was tremendous. I have used this analogy myself many times... I was raised (and baptized) a baptist. I was a vicar in Oklahaoma... I meet many half-Roman, half-evangelical couples wondering if they should baptize their baby...
I am laughing and crying.
