Manipulation of our Children. . .
Propaganda. Aimed at children. Aimed against Christians. Aimed against doctrine. Aimed against morality. One of saddest things about being a child today is the terrible quality of the cartoons. Our kids are left without fun and with entertainment that is designed to manipulate them. Why, you cannot even go to a children's movie without an agenda being pushed. Some is obvious and some is more subtle. But do not be deceived. People are out to take your children and impart to them values that are in direct conflict with traditional Christian values regarding sex, children, and marriage. Watch if you must but engage your children and expose the messages foisted upon them (on your dime, I might add). Things are not always what they seem...
Two more issues with Children's programming:
ReplyDelete1. Gender-bending characters
2. Kids that disrespect adults
We refuse to pay for cable and satellite TV. Our family watches cartoons that are older than 1980, and we our very picky about the DVDs we buy/rent.
It bothers me that such cartoons appear as books. I might be able to keep my child from watching Nickelodeon cartoons. However, it is nearly impossible to keep him from the corresponding cartoon-based book, which often appears in the school library or is offered by Scholastic.
Your vid link doesn't work, but if you go to YouTube and search Box Trolls you'll see the trailer.
ReplyDeleteYour comments are simply spot on correct. Every Disney movie today is characterized by the most perverse progressive ideologies. Sometimes heavy, most times subtle but clear. "Crude humor" seems to be the kindest descriptive of their movies' cultural content. All it means is references to vulgarities inserted as a joke but definitely meant as indoctrination or degradation.
Oh, and "on your dime" is the one comment a bit off...more like sawbuck.

ReplyDeleteDisney movies slowly began to become advocates of "Social Justice" shortly after Walt died. Sad.
