Journal of Lutheran Mission: A periodical of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod's Offices of National and International Mission.

Since I spent some digital ink on one Lutheran Mission resource I could not fully endorse, let me counter with an exceptionally fine Lutheran mission journal that is thorough, faithful, and very timely in addressing the mission challenge before us and the direction of faithful Lutheran mission. I commend the journal and its issues are easily accessible in PDF form for reading or print out. Good stuff!

The Window

This is the Means of Grace Window that is above the altar of Grace Lutheran Church where I serve. It reminds us of the keys (confession and absolution), the wheat(the bread which is the Body of Christ), the cup (which is His Blood), the Word (Scripture), and the Pastoral Office (the red stole). In this one wonderful window we see the treasures of the Church in the Word and Sacraments and I love that it is available for all to see.
