The Genderbread Person. . .

Although we typically believe that the worst of the things we hear about will not happen in our own back yards, they do and we would rather live in our denial than to admit the painful truth.  That is especially the case with the state of affairs with gender identity.  We want to believe that our children are safe from the onslaught of adult ideas that would create confusion or questions about their gender or force them to make a choice while still children.  But what we want to believe and what is happening are two very different things.

One of the tools being used to help children make a gender choice is something called the Genderbread Person.

Even this tool to help the child chart the course through identity, attraction, biological sex, and expression is not quite enough.  Perhaps there is still too much masculinity in the gingerbread, um, I mean, genderbread person.  So take a look at another tool used to aid the child in his or her denial of the obvious and pursuit of an answer determined not by something given but by something chosen.

These tools are not simply promoted by the trans community but are being adopted by schools where the curriculum now includes not only reading, writing, and arithmetic but also gender identity.  Biological sex now becomes sex assigned at birth as if it were something imposed upon the child by nefarious forces designed to imprison a child.  The forces promoting gender fluidity and a choice to be made by the youngest of children are then presumed to be the great warriors of freedom who are working to liberate the children from the tyranny of DNA, chromosomes, reproductive organs, genitalia, and such.  The real body is not what you see but the chosen truth.  The ultimate lie is that the identity chosen is real -- in the end, it is not that a man identifies as a woman or a woman identifies as a man but they are real women and men.  And the last lie is worse than the first.
