Improvement?

Here are some photos I have seen of remodeling jobs in Roman Catholic churches and it is time to look again at the beauty of the Lord's House and how architecture and art contribute to that beauty even though it comes essentially from what the Lord gives and bestows in that House through Word and Sacrament.  You tell me what you think.

Beauty is a noble work especially in service to the Liturgy.

Indeed, the churches shown are quite beautiful to see. Yet, even the humble weathered clapboard church in a rural place, and the mud floor of a simple concrete dwelling in Africa are also where the followers of Christ gather to worship. Beyond the glitter and stained glass, a heart for the Lord is what makes a church pleasing in God’s sight. Soli Deo Gloria
