Strangling a newborn is not much different than abortion, thinks the judge....

If it could be legal, it must be legal.... interesting new concept being tried out in Canada.  A friend sent me this link to a story about a judge who vacated jail time and, in effect, dismissed the charges against her for strangling her newborn infant.  Though convicted twice by juries, the appeals process led to these convictions being thrown out and the girl stood accused only of infanticide.  The judge reasoned that since abortion is legal in Canada, she could have killed her child legally and therefore her crime was not so much.  His sympathy for her led him to justify what she did and let her off with probation....

You can read it all here.

I really don't think I need to comment.  The story says it all and a sad story it is, indeed.

The day is here in America when secularists think they can impose on us by judicial fiat. God have mercy on our nation.
