The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod will host the 2017 Institute on Liturgy, Preaching and Church Music on July 25-28 in River Forest, Ill., at Concordia University Chicago.

Building on the theme “The Just Live by Faith: Make it Plain in Sermon, Service, Song,” the institute will feature the following speakers:
- Rev. William M. Cwirla, senior pastor, Holy Trinity LC, Hacienda Heights, Calif.;
- Rev. Dr. Daniel Gard, president, Concordia University Chicago, River Forest, Ill.;
- Kevin Hildebrand, kantor, Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, Ind.; and
- Rev. David Petersen, pastor, Redeemer LC, Fort Wayne, Ind.
