Jesus had prejudice and bigotry? For he hath made him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. But then I'm only a simple Appalachian Deacon and she is a learned Bishop.
That statement is so troubling on so many levels.. All I know is that these are not the words of a true believer in the Lord. These are the blasphemous words of a contemptible progressive fool who cloaks her anti-Christian agenda in disdainful rhetoric. Some of the most dangerous places for a new Christian today is in the pews of liberal churches, where lies are taught and the truth of God's word is substituted for theories of social thought.

This is so sad.
The UMC has apostatized.
St Paul did warn that "ravenous wolfves " would infiltrate the church. Why are we so surprised when it happens?
That's right, they even come from among us. This is why it is so important to hold fast to the trustworthy Word as taught and fight for the faith.
