I am not at all sure I agree with everything that this priest has said but I do resonate with some of his perceptions of the radical disconnect between my parents' generation and the after effects of the 1960s both in the cultural as well as the liturgical context.
If what he says is true, this is a new day for the liturgy and for a disciplined faith of creed and confession (vs the chaotic Christianity of feeling, opinion, and a freedom from all authority except self).
It is short, listen and tell me what you think...

This priest is spot on correct. However, father, don't think that even if this video were shown to every LCMS Lutheran that this will get most of them to consider "going back" to the traditional Liturgy simply because if Rome is doing that, then it must be bad, and Lutherans can't be Roman.
Reap what you sow. Frankly, you guys brought this on yourselves by actively disparaging the Liturgy and the liturgical life in church for your own authority rooted in self. It was taught at seminaries. I don't feel the least bit sorry for you. You're all going to go to contemporary worship and you're all going to be theologically and spiritually empty and your churches will die.
Fr. Kramer, who narrated this video, represents the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter, which was founded in the late 1980s. It seeks to evangelize through the liturgy. One of their two seminaries (the other is in Germany) is a twenty-minute drive from Seward, and my liturgy class takes a field trip there.
