It was an interesting podcast. The point about recalling our memoirs, where one becomes introspective and looks back at the various people and circumstances which influenced us during our life journey is an important takeaway. But to acknowledge these events even more deeply, a Christian might want to recall their spiritual journey of faith. At what times did we feel the drawing of God in making a decision? Do we remember the times that the Holy Spirit guided us away from making a bad decision? In what circumstances did we begin to be thankful for the Godly wisdom we received by our acquaintance with certain persons or groups? Do we appreciate the times God disciplined us, because we honestly were in need of His correction? Has our walk with the Lord been mostly in search of self aggrandizement or personal fulfillment, or have we learned that obedience to His will was where the motivation should have been focused.? Introspection is more than just about our physical journey, but it is also about the growth and nurture of faith. Soli Deo Gloria
