We have written of this often and now with little more than a couple of weeks left in their building, the University Lutheran Chapel situation in Minnesota South has been massaged by the spin doctors. It is always interesting to see how we transform our defeats, our bad choices, and our flawed decisions into victories, wisdom, and prophetic futures.
If you are so inclined, you can click here and read a PR piece designed to turn one more such screw up into the things that will save Campus Ministry in MNS... Someone has kindly pointed out to the stretches, disconnects, and fatal errors of this misguided attempt to turn a sow's ear kind of move into a silk purse we can all be proud of... and, sad to say, if you did not know the facts, you could almost believe it!
It is not too late to derail the delusion and stand up for the truth... BTW I chose April 15, proverbial tax day, as the day to post this because this day may be the granddaddy of all creative ways to dress up the truth...

I am not currently LC-MS, but I am from Minnesota. This is a very unhappy situation. The University Lutheran congregation has been an important presence at our prestigious University.
The arguments given for any public decision are worthy of careful study. You have done your readers a valuable service.
