Flash Dance in Beruit

See what happens when a chant is so thoroughly familiar that the people cannot but join the song!  A little old but better late than never.

This is beautiful. I only wish I could see a translation of that which is sung and spoken by these gifted people.

Oh this is one of two of my most favorite flash mobs (the other is the Alleluia Chorus sung at a Mall Food Court around Christmas).

Dalton, I am surprised you cannot see the translation because mine is automatic. The song opens with the man singing in Arabic, "This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it"...the rest of the video are repetitions of "Christ is risen from the dead, trampling down death by death, and upon those in the tombs bestowing life." in Arabic. Around 0.56 you hear this same message in Greek. This is a (more like THE) traditional Easter hymn for Eastern Christians.

I have many favorite parts in the video...like the joy in the various people's faces but I have a sweet spot for the restaurant worker joining in and bobbing his head. This always puts a HUGE smile on my face.
