Rulers of Europe Every Year. . .

Just because. . .

It will be interesting to see what happens when (not if) the economies of many European countries crash and the European Union breaks up. Given time, the boundaries will shift again for sure. The common people in border areas will be more interested in living in a neighboring country that can offer superior social and economic stability.

As an aside, an Irishman once told me that the people of Northern Ireland wanted their territory to remain with the UK due to the fact that the UK has better social welfare benefits than Ireland......

At a recent family reunion, my cousins and I were discussing how some of us had had our DNA tested and were surprised to learn that we have a mix of nationalities that we had not known about. Border are fluid, people move around for primarily economic reasons, we are not just one nationality, despite what our long dead grandparents told us. And where did all of that Neanderthal DNA come from! Whose G-G-G-G-grandmother was sleeping with the red haired guy with the hairy back.
