Spain is anti-abortion.... no, wait, uhhhh
A group of Spanish pro-life campaigners have called for the repeal of Spain’s abortion law in response to a new law protecting the Great Apes from the moment of conception. The campaigners dressed as primates and gathered outside the headquarters of the Partido Popular – Spain’s ruling political party. The Spanish parliament recently passed a new law which protects the Great Apes from the moment of conception from abortion and foetal experimentation. But the protestors highlighted the fact that unborn humans remain unprotected from both abortion and experimentation.
You can read a report here... but you won't want to. . .
Sadly, the world is ripe for sympathy for all sorts of things, especially for the protection of animals, but has little compassion or outrage at the death of the not yet born. This death is sanctioned and protected by law and is the only murder that law allows.
