Remember the Lesbian "Catholic" Denied Holy Communion...

The story of the lesbian woman denied the Sacrament at her mother's funeral has taken a new and bizarre turn.  At least in print, and by her own admission, the woman, Barbara Johnson, says she is a Buddhist.  Hmmmmm sounds like a set up to me...

I suppose that the LCMS no longer has to worry about accusations of discrimination. It did win that recent supreme court case, so all is good, right?

Imagine all of the other types of businesses that are forced to accommodate gays and lesbians. For example, a wedding photographer could get sued if he or she refuses to take pictures for a gay wedding.

This is a dilemma facing the Missouri Synod laity that has not been addressed by all of the LCMS press hoopla over President Harrison's testimony before the House committee.

If it is a violation of the First Amendment to force church organizations to have their insurance premiums go for abortions and abortifacients, then it is also a violation of the First Amendment to force pro-life Lutherans or business owned by Lutherans to do the same thing with their insurance premiums.
